Factory Five Skid Plate

Think of this skid plate kit as a drive shaft saftey loop.  Hope you never need it, but should something happen you will be glad you have it!   Protect your investment!

Overview: This is a skid plate kit designed to fit all FFR Cobra kits with 4" round main frame rails.  This Kit will fit: MKI, MKII, MKIII, MKIV, 289 kits and Gen I, Gen II Type 65 Coupes. With the low ride heights of these vehicles ranging from 3.5"-4" having another layer of protection to your investment is cheap insurance again catastrophic damage to your engine should you encounter road debris.  Your oil pan must be above the 4" frame rails for this skid plate kit to fit.  IF your oil pan is below the 4" frame rails, spacers or washers are needed to provide clearance.(Not included in the kit)

Product: This Skid Plate kit was designed to protect your oil pan from any possible road debris that you may encounter. 

Material: 3/16" thick 6061 aluminum.  25" L x 13" W.

Design: The front of this skid plate has a front turned up leading edge and a turned down trailing edge to promote any contact with road debris down and away from the underside of the car.

Your oil pan must be above the 4" frame rails for this skid plate kit to fit.  IF your oil pan is below the 4" frame rails, spacers or washers are needed to provide clearance.(Not included in the kit)

Whats in the kit :  1 Skid Plate. All required stainless steel mounting hardware.  One #21 drill.  One #10-32 tap. Installation instructions.
